The United States of America also known as the United States, U.S., or simply America, is the second largest country in North America and third largest on Earth. The country is comprised of fifty states, several self-governing territories, and a federal district. It's capital was Washington, D.C.

History Edit

The United States was one of the nations involved in World War II and was an Allied power fighting against the rivaling Axis powers. In 1944, a American pilot named Hank Marlow battled with Japanese pilot Ikari Gunpei after they crash landed on Skull Island after a dogfight. They sparred until Gunpei got the upper hand and nearly killed Marlow until they were interrupted by Kong's arrival. Sometime later, Gunpei and Marlow put their country's differences aside and became friends, though Gunpei was later killed by a Skull Crawler, much to Marlow's dismay.

In 1954, the United States Navy collaborated with Monarch to study Godzilla and lure him to Bikini Atoll to kill with a hydrogen bomb under the guise of bomb testing.

During the Vietnam War in 1973, many were protesting in the streets of Washington, D.C. to end U.S involvement in the war. At this time, a helicopter squadron called the Sky Devils were stationed at Da Nang Air Base in Vietnam during the war.
