Kong also known as King Kong is a giant prehistoric ape Titan and the king/guardian of Skull Island.

History: Edit

Kong was born on Skull Island to a super-species of large apes that resided on the island. However, the majority of his species were slaughtered by Skull Crawlers until only his parents remained. His mother was able to give birth to him and hid him in a cave to prevent him from being discovered by the Skull Crawlers. As his parents fought against Ramarak; the alpha and largest of the Skull Crawlers, Kong could only watch as they were killed, leaving him as the last of his species. After his parents death, Kong would have to take the responsibility of surviving into his own hands. Kong would go on to mature over time, visiting the boneyard that held the remains of his parents to mourn over them. He also controlled the Skull Crawler population on the island, killing them while they were small to prevent them from overrunning the island again.

Kong: Skull Island Edit

In 1973, during the final days of the Vietnam War, the monster hunting coalition Monarch ventured out on an expedition to Skull Island to map out uncharted terrain while attempting to uncover the existence of Massive Unidentified Terrestrial Organisms (later renamed as Titans).

Godzilla: King of the Monsters Edit

In 2019, Kong was mentioned as many of the various super-species explained by Monarch during a Senate hearing. During King Ghidorah's Campaign, he was ensuring that none of the creatures left Skull Island. After Godzilla defeated King Ghidorah during the Battle of Boston He was also seen in a cave painting discovered by Monarch that displayed him or another member of his species engaging in battle with Godzilla or another member of Godzilla's species.
